Newell Mowing Co., a Longmont-based company operating as Green Man Lawn & Landscape, filed for Chapter 11 protection in the Colorado District Bankruptcy Court this week.
In its bankruptcy filing, Green Man claims between one and 49 creditors.
The company has assets of $ 238,381.92 and liabilities of $ 966,064.31, according to court documents.
According to its website, Green Man offers a variety of landscaping and lawn maintenance services, from commercial mowing to installing roof gardens.
The firm is represented by attorneys on the Denver Berken Cloyes PC. The lawyers did not respond to requests for comment on Thursday.
