THE WOODLANDS, TX — The Woodlands Township will host a free event on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 9 am to noon to share tips and resources for creating landscapes that are beautiful as well as water-wise and earth-friendly. The 25th annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions will be held at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77389.
Interested vendors must apply by Friday, September 2, 2022, by emailing enviro@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov for an application. Early submission is encouraged as space is limited.
Woodlands Landscaping Solutions, the region’s premier lawn and garden event, features dozens of retail and educational booths as well as lectures and demonstrations by area experts. Attendees can seek out advice on gardening, landscaping, lawn care, wildlife, plant and tree care and more. If a particular plant is giving you trouble, bring in a sample for an on-site diagnosis.
Those interested in attracting more birds or butterflies can visit with an expert who can help build a beautiful garden that wildlife and neighbors alike will appreciate. This is also a good opportunity to shop for rain barrels, compost bins, native plants and more. A limited number of free native plants and other lawn and garden resources will be given away.
Attendees will also enjoy live music and kids’ activities. There is something for everyone! The 25th annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions is sponsored by Waste Management, Chevron Phillips Chemical, Woodlands Water, HEB, The Woodlands GREEN and Howard Hughes.
