On Saturday, September 24, 2022, The Woodlands Township hosted the 25th annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions that shared tips and resources for creating beautiful, water-wise and earth-friendly landscapes. The free lawn and garden event was held from 9 am to noon at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park located at 6464 Creekside Forest Drive in The Woodlands.

The Woodlands Landscaping Solutions event featured dozens of retail and educational booths plus lectures and hands-on learning by area experts. Attendees also had the opportunity to have one-on-one visits with experts for advice on gardening, landscaping, lawn care, wildlife, plant and tree care and more.
Free native plants and other lawn and garden resources were given away during the event, native plants and compost bins were available for purchase, and the event had kid-friendly activities, live animals, and live music.

Attendees may have one-on-one visits with experts for advice on gardening, landscaping, lawn care, wildlife, plant and tree care and more. If a particular plant is giving you trouble, bring in a sample for an on-site diagnosis. If you’re interested in attracting more birds or butterflies to your garden, visit with an expert who can help you build a beautiful garden that wildlife and neighbors alike will appreciate. Shop for rain barrels, compost bins, compost and native plants. A limited number of free native plants and other lawn and garden resources will be given away.
Compost classes will be held at 9:15 am, 10:15 am and 11:15 am inside the recreation center. Enjoy live music, meet wildlife ambassadors and stop by for children’s activities.
