Milwaukee-based Southeast Sales Powersports, a dealer of new and used ATVs, four-wheelers, motorcycles and more, has purchased the site of the former Halbman Landscape Company, right next door to the company at 6940 N. 76th St. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Halbman Landscape Company, now known as Milwaukee Landscape Supply, offers commercial and residential clients a variety of landscape materials such as mulch, stone, and soil. The company also offers landscape maintenance services. Southeast Sales Powersports renamed Halbman Landscape Company as Milwaukee Landscape Supply and will continue to operate the 40-year-old business. “Southeast Sales Powersports is growing and we need a larger footprint. We have been in the City of Milwaukee 55-plus years and are proud of our heritage,” said John Erdman, owner of Southeast Sales Powersports. “When the opportunity to purchase the Halbman Landscape Company presented itself we knew it was the right time to grow our business. We have retained existing staff and hired experienced workers from our community and are looking forward to a bright future. We are looking forward to working with the City of Milwaukee on future development and expansion of both businesses.” Southeast Sales Powersports tore down the home that was previously located on the Milwaukee Landscape Supply property to make the landscaping yard “more fluid and professional,” said Kelsey Berg, marketing and events manager. There will also be more bins added to the yard. “This is another fantastic example of our businesses in Havenwoods furthering their commitment to this community by continuing to invest in themselves and the Havenwoods Community,” said Stephanie Harling, executive director of the Havenwoods Neighborhood Partnership and BID #31. “Havenwoods continues to be a neighborhood that supports businesses.”
