Tracy Abraham and Lance Brown have added a landscaping business to their current lawn care business, Grassmasters
For potential customers and passersby, a welcoming sign went up recently on 1955 Gardner Road, and it indicates that Prineville once again has a landscape supply to serve both commercial accounts and homeowners.
Gardner Landscape Supply, LLC is owned by Tracy Abraham and Lance Brown. They also own and operate Grassmasters in Prineville, which is a lawn and garden company that offers moss control, sod repair, leaf removal and other services. They have provided lawn and garden services to the Central Oregon area for 23 years.
Prineville Rentals, LLC transitioned into another business recently and left a void for landscape supplies in Prineville.
“It seemed logical for us to do it, because we have been in landscaping for the past 23 years, so it is a really good basis of landscape supply. And we have a really good working knowledge — and it was a needed business in Prineville ,” noted Abraham.
“And we had space,” added Brown.
Their new landscape supply is adjacent to Grassmasters on Gardner Road.
Brown explained that they added bins for the material that they currently supply, including bark mulch, decorative rock, river rock, driveway gravel, boulders, topsoil and an assortment of plants and shrubs. They also provide delivery, and there are dump trailers to rent if customers want to take product themselves.
“All the basics of whatever you need for landscaping,” said Abraham.
The variety of bark mulch includes brown hemlock, high desert, red hemlock and smaller nuggets. Their decorative rocks include Grizzly rock, Ochoco rock and pink Rictor. There are also two varieties of river rock and pea gravel.
In the plants and shrubs, Abraham indicated that they are all perennials. There are also some trees, which are deer resistant.
“It’s enough to keep people from having to travel out of town a little bit. It has gone pretty well,” she added.
There are also railroad ties and landscape fabric.
“We try to incorporate most everything that we use in our business in this one,” Brown indicated. “It fits really well in our current business.”
Gardner Landscape Supply provides material for both commercial customers and individual homeowners. They are hoping to get more awareness that they are open for business and located on Gardner Road. Their crew includes Lance Brown, Tracy Abraham, Todd Abraham and Tammy Woodley.
