A commercial landscaping company that operates in multiple states doles out a total of $ 28 million in appreciation bonuses to 12-hundred employees. Last week, employees at Ruppert Landscape who’d been with the company for at least a year received a bonus check. The checks ranged from $7-thousand to $200-thousand and only went to lower level workers, not top management.
Founder and CEO Craig Ruppert called the employees receiving the bonuses “instrumental” in helping get the company where it is today. “This bonus is money that is well-deserved,” he says. “And a way for us to acknowledge the value of our teams’ contributions and the essential role that they will play in our company’s future.”
The bonuses were made possible after the company entered into a new strategic partnership with an investment firm specializing in investing in growing companies. Bonus checks went to workers at 30 branches across the eight states where Ruppert operates.
